CIPIES Congress

The ECIGAL research group, together with the Professional College of Social Educators of Galicia (CEESG) , the SEPA-interea Group of the USC, the ForInterMed Group of the UNED and the Faculty of Education and Social Work of the UVigo, organized the 1st International, Professional and Interuniversity Congress on Social Education on May 8 and 9.

For us, this is an opportunity to strengthen the interuniversity work and collaboration with the CEESG that we have been developing in recent years and, above all, a learning experience, with conferences, roundtables, communication, and interesting workshops that will delve deeper into what is a key pillar of social education: WELL-BEING AND SUPPORT.

In addition:

• Our colleague Laura Cruz participated in the roundtable discussion that addressed the future challenges of social education.

• We shared our work at a symposium on Youth in Action Leading Global Change through Research, Participation, and Activism, coordinated by Solidariedade Internacional de Galicia .

• We participate in communications in which we disseminate findings on the networking of ECGC between teachers, NGOs, and school communities, or theoretical reflection on the challenges of critical digital literacy.

  
  

And, of course, we also highlight the potential of this conference as a space for meeting, sharing affection, and networking opportunities. We're eagerly awaiting the next CIPIES!!!
