Verónica Verdía Varela

I have a degree in Sociology from the University of A Coruña and, from the same university, a Master's degree in International Migration and another in Research Methodology in the Social Sciences. I worked as a development education specialist in two organizations in the Galician third sector. I was hired by the UDC as a researcher, collaborating on three projects: one on immigration in Galicia (Faculty of Education, 2014-2017), another on child functional diversity and female emigration in Nicaragua (Faculty of Physiotherapy, 2018), and the latest on global citizenship education in Spain (Faculty of Education, 2021). I am currently writing my doctoral thesis on migration in Galicia.
