Congratulations to Dr. Zeynep Pamukçu, who on Monday, 4th of March, 2024, defended her thesis entitled Minority Children’s Perception of Race: A Child-Centered Ethnographic Approach. The thesis, which was co-directed by Renée DePalma and AntÃa Pérez Caramés, is based on an ethnographic study situated in an ONG and explores how racialized children of migrant origin understand themselves and society in terms of key concepts such as race, nationality and religion.
