Last July 2021, the Galician Cooperation division of the Xunta de Galicia published the funding bid results for the implementation of development and global citizenship education projects (resolución de axudas concedidas) for the implementation of development and global citizenship education projects, in which our team obtained funding to conduct the third phase of the project "Investigating in the territory to identify and recognize global citizenship education experiences in Galician regulated education" (Investigando no territorio para coñecer e recoñecer experiencias de educación para a cidadanÃa global desenvolvidas no ensino regrado de Galicia). The main objective of the research is to generate knowledge on how to identify Galician schools of all educational stages working in Development and Global Citizenship Education as well as to promote and recognize their work through an award.
This is the eighth consecutive research project for which we have obtained funding from this source since 2013, in collaboration with the NGO Galician International Solidarity (Solidariedade Internacional de Galicia).
This latest success demonstrates that we are a well-established consortium that is highly valued by Galician public institutions. Congratulations!!!
